Brian Luff began his writing career by scripting comic strips (including Scooby Doo and Woody Woodpecker) for the children’s magazine Look In.

Following 10 years working as a cartoonist in London he scripted TV trailers for CBBC, a puppet show for Channel 4 and he has worked in digital media for various production companies and TV channels.

Brian has since written many humour books and a stage comedy. More recently he has written and directed a short film The Phantom Juggler of Cleethorpes Pier and a family pantomime
